Shark Attack

Monday and Tuesday I taught PE at Columbia Elementary.

We did the parachute. They loved it. Whatever.

While playing sharks and lifeguards with the first grade class one cute, soft-spoken little girl tapped my arm and said, "You have to play."

I chuckled a little and sat down with my feet under the parachute and said to her, "Well I don't think any shark will be able to pull me under."

She smiled and said to me, "Yeah, probably 10 sharks could pull you under."

I laughed to myself and the picture of me swimming in the ocean came to my head....with 10 hungry sharks trying to pull me under the water.....unsuccessfully.

I mean, I know I am a little chubby, but TEN sharks? Really???
